ورلڈ یونانی ڈے ہر سال ۱۱ فروری کو مسیح الملک حکیم محمد اجمل خان کے یوم ہیدائش کے دن منایا جاتا ہے۔ مسیح الملک حکیم محمد اجمل خان ایک عظیم یونانی طبی اسکالر، سماجی ، تعلیمی ، سیاسی رہنما تھے۔ برصغیر میں طب یونانی کا وجود انہی کی مرہون منت ہے۔ ورلڈ یونانی ڈے کو منانے کا مقصد حکیم محمد اجمل خان کا یوم پیدائش منانے کے ساتھ ساتھ طب یونانی کو درپیش مشکلات، طب یونانی کی ترقی، سائنسی ریسرچ، اور یونانی طبی تعلیم سے متعلق ٹھوس اقدامات اٹھانا ہے۔ اس سال بھی دنیا بھر میں اس دن کی مناسبت سے تقربیات کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔
World Unani Day is celebrated every year on February 11, the birth anniversary of the great scholar Muhammad Ajmal Khan. Masih-ul-Mulk, Hakim Muhammad Ajmal Khan was an impressive medical scholar, social, educational, and political leader. The existence of Unani medicine in the subcontinent is due to him. The purpose of celebrating World Unani Day is to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hakim Muhammad Ajmal Khan as well as to take concrete steps regarding the difficulties faced by the development of Unani medicine, scientific research, and Unani medical education.
